Balanced diet



A healthy balanced diet is necessary throughout one's life time , to supple the body with essential nutrients and energy the body needs to develop and maintain a strong and healthy bones. A healthy balanced diet also reduces the risks of chronic diseases. To ensure a healthy balanced diet, foods from each food group should be eaten everyday because no single food or group of food provides all nutrients the body needs. Therefore, foods that provides the body with fibres, minerals, vitamins, fats, proteins and carbohydrates should be included in your daily meal.
